We host two groups for Home-educated children, aged 3-11 years.
Sycamore Seeds 3-7 years
In Sycamore Seeds, we celebrate the seasonal through crafts, outdoor activity, like working with wood and gardening stories and songs. We begin each session with chopping vegetables and making bread, later eating together. Children also have time to play freely with beautiful wooden toys and we have a selection of child-led early ‘learning’ resources, including letter and number tracing boards, for children ready and interested in beginning to explore letter and number.
Ivy May 6-11 years
Ivy May explores a theme for 6 weeks, through stories, games, crafts and outdoor activities, while improving maths and English skills through numberwork and writing. This cross-curricular, thematic approach to learning, is as it should be- creative and inspiring for children as they investigate a topic together. Led by a qualified teacher.
Sessions currently run on Mondays, 9:45am-1:30pm. We’d love to meet you- why not book a trial session through the form below?
Prices are as follows. We offer a one-off taster session and then ask families to sign up for the half-term block- usually around 6 weeks. However, if you cannot pay for all 6 sessions in one go, you can pay in instalments- you just need to ask!
You can also drop in. Drop in spaces are charged at an extra 20% to make it fair to those signing up, who may miss a session due to illness etc.
Ivy May is £15/ session; Sycamore Seeds is £12/ session and there is a 50% sibling discount.
